WOLFE CITY — Wolfe City bounced back from a double-overtime loss to down Bells 26-21 in football on Friday.
Returning all-state running back Dylan Wilson rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Wolves.
Wolfe City quarterback Amarien Jones was 4-of-7 passing for 45 yards and a touchdown and ran for 66 yards.
Mo Russell returned a punt for a Wolfe City touchdown.
Wolfe City’s defense allowed only 149 yards rushing and no yards passing to Bells, which remained winless at 0-2.
Wolfe City, which lost its opener 28-26 to Leonard in extra time, squared its season record at 1-1.
