The Carver Elementary "Cool Cats" offered a musical presentation for Friday's annual local observance of Arbor Day in the Paul Mathews Auditorium inside Greenville High School.

Keep Greenville Beautiful and the Greenville Parks and Recreation Department hosted the celebration and all K-5th graders received a tree seedling donated by the City of Greenville.

Friday’s event also served as the City of Greenville’s 28th annual recognition as an official Tree City USA.
