The National Weather Service is warning of the potential for some thunderstorms in the area late this afternoon and evening.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible as a cold front and dryline move into North Texas, according an advisory issued at around 2 p.m. today.

Areas primarily north of Interstate 20 will have the best chances for thunderstorms. Most severe weather is expected to stay in Oklahoma, but an isolated severe storm is possible near the Red River.
