A Caddo Mills man has been sentenced to prison after being convicted of repeatedly sexually abusing a child.
A jury trial had been scheduled to begin in the 354th District Court Monday in the case of Kieran Michael Nedrow.
Nedrow, 22, had been charged by a Hunt County grand jury in February 2017 with an indictment with three counts of aggravated sexual assault.
The indictment alleged Nedrow had sexually assault a female child who at the time was less than 14 years of age on three occasions between Dec. 31, 2013 and Dec. 31, 2014.
He had pleaded not guilty.
Nedrow entered pleas of guilty to all three counts during a hearing Sept. 4, Under a plea bargain arrangement he was sentenced to 12 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently.
Aggravated sexual assault is a first degree felony, punishable upon conviction by a maximum sentence of from five to 99 years to life in prison.
