The Greenville Police Department made multiple drug and alcohol related arrests Monday.

Officers were dispatched to 85 calls, took five people into custody and filed 21 reports.

The arrests included one person each for possession of a controlled substance, public intoxication, public intoxication/possession of a controlled substance, public intoxication/disorderly conduct and outstanding warrants

Deputies with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 29 calls, took five people into custody and filed 12 reports.

The arrests included three people for assault/family violence and one person each for assault by threats and warrant service.

Courts

District Court

— Patrick Sandefer, 20, Wills Point, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was placed on three years of deferred adjudication probation with 240 hours of community service and a $1,000 fine.

County Court-at-Law No. 1

— Charles Glenn Cagle entered a plea of guilty to a charge of theft and was sentenced to 180 days in jail with a $100 fine.

— Craig Lee James entered a pleas of guilty to one count each of failure to identify and evading arrest/detention was sentenced to 90 days in jail with a $100 fine in each case.

— Scott Lemmon entered a plea of guilty to a charge of theft and was sentenced to four days in jail with a $100 fine.

— Randall James Yates entered a plea of guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to 150 days in jail with a $100 fine.

County Court-at-Law No. 2

— Mark Anthony Dumas had probation on a charge of assault causing bodily injury/family violence revoked and was sentenced to 120 days in jail.

— Jonathan Richard Evans had probation on a charge of criminal mischief revoked and was sentenced to 90 days in jail.

— La Velt Hart entered a plea of guilty to a charge of assault causing bodily injury and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with a $100 fine.

— Williams Wesley James entered a plea of guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated and was placed on 12 months of probation with a $700 fine.

— Timothy Eugene Kirk entered a plea of guilty to a charge of driving while license invalid and was placed on 12 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $400 fine.

— Robert Michael Larson entered pleas of guilty to one count each of violation of a protective order, terroristic threat and assault causing bodily injury/family violence. Larson was sentenced to 75 days in jail on the threat and assault charges and 63 days in jail on the violation of a protective order with a $100 fine in each case.

— Albert Rodriguez entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with a $100 fine.

— Andrew Dawnyel Savage entered a plea of guilty to a charge of theft and was sentenced to 120 days in jail with a $100 fine.

— David Erby Smith entered a plea of guilty to a charge of assault causing bodily injury/family violence and was placed on 18 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $400 fine.

— Misty Sue Smith entered a plea of guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated and was placed on 12 months of probation with a $500 fine.

— Timmy Lee Sprabary entered a plea of guilty to a charge of assault causing bodily injury/family violence and was sentenced to 12 days in jail with a $100 fine.

— Kimberly Michelle Stailey entered a plea of guilty to a charge of driving while license invalid and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with a $100 fine.

— Stephen Michael Thomas had probation on a charge of possession of marijuana revoked and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

— Dalia Vasquez entered a plea of guilty to a charge of failure to identify and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with a $100 fine.
