Local law enforcement had to deal with a violent and hectic weekend, as officers answered more than 350 calls and made more than 30 arrests.

The Greenville Police Department, on Sunday alone, responded to calls of an alleged armed robbery, a stabbing and a local man who apparently was conducting his own happy hour.

Officers in Greenville were dispatched to 241 calls between Friday morning and Sunday night, took 15 people into custody and filed 50 reports. A 28-year-old local woman was arrested Sunday night and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly stabbing a victim in the left arm. A 50-year-old Greenville man was arrested Sunday afternoon for aggravated robbery after allegedly confessing to an armed robbery. And a 34-year-old Greenville man was arrested early Sunday morning on a charge of unauthorized sale/resale/open container after reportedly giving away shots of whiskey mixed with juice.

Other arrests in Greenville during the weekend included four people on outstanding warrants, two people for public intoxication and one person each for prohibited weapons, assault causing bodily injury/family violence, evading arrest, driving while license suspended/invalid and driving while intoxicated.

Deputies with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 118 calls, took 18 people into custody and filed 28 reports.

The arrests included 14 people for warrant service, and one person each for public intoxication, assault/family violence, driving while license invalid and traffic violation.

District Court

— Jasmine Nichole King, 22, Mesquite, had probation on a charge of credit/debit card abuse revoked and was sentenced to one year in a state jail.

— Richard Lynn Lewis Jr., 29, Lewisville, Kentucky, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was placed on five years of deferred adjudication probation with a $1,000 fine and 100 hours of community service.

— John Randall Clifford, 55, Quinlan, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of felony DWI and was sentenced to three years in prison.

— Leavonna Taliaferro Weiss, 36, Arp, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated-second offense and was placed on two years of probation with a $750 fine and 80 hours of community service.

— Jeffrey Frank Donahoo, 49, Quinlan, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of felony DWI and was sentenced to four years in prison.

— Andres Rodriguez, 25, Greenville, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was placed on three years of deferred adjudication probation with a $750 fine and 110 hours of community service.

— Jules Ennis Banker, 35, Honey Grove, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to three years in prison.

— Katherine Marie Lindsey, 31, Caddo Mills, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence and was placed on three years of deferred adjudication probation, with a $500 fine and 180 hours of community service.

— Eric Dexter Fuller Jr., 22. Mount Pleasant, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was placed on five years of deferred adjudication probation with a $500 fine and 160 hours of community service.

— Robert Glen Ravanelli/Ravenell, 42, Greenville, forfeited bond on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. A warrant was ordered for the defendant’s arrest and new bond was denied.
