One of NBC's most popular television programs is looking for participants from the North Texas area, with auditions scheduled in Dallas this week.

Thomas contacted the Herald-Banner recently, in hopes of drawing interest especially among people who live in the Hunt County area, as Thomas is from Greenville.

Thomas said she and her fellow casting director, DJ Feldman, would do their best to see the first 500 people in line.

Anyone not able to make the open call can go to thebiggestlosercasting.com to apply.
