A local teenager was taken into custody this week on multiple charges related to alleged offenses which occurred in March.
Luke Wesley Macmoy is being held in custody at the Hunt County Detention Center on an armed robbery charge out of the Houston area.
Jail records indicate the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office arrested Macmoy, 17, of Greenville Wednesday afternoon on one count each of place where weapons prohibited, possession of between two and four ounces of marijuana and terroristic threat, with all three offenses referring to an incident or incidents on March 23, 2019.
He was being held in the jail Thursday afternoon in lieu of a total of $21,500 on the charges.
The jail also reports Macmoy was being held on a charge of aggravated robbery out of Harris County, for which he is being held on $888,888 bond. There was no offense date reported in connection with the charge.
Aggravated robbery is a first degree felony, punishable by a maximum sentence upon conviction of from five to 99 years to life in prison.
It was not immediately clear as of Thursday if Macmoy had retained an attorney or would be seeking a defense counsel to be appointed to represent him.
