Temperatures running warm to cold this weekend

GREENVILLE — It is going to be one of those weekends when North Texas residents won't be able to decide between short sleeves or a good wool sweater.

The National Weather Service forecast has the temperatures swinging between unseasonably warm this afternoon, to downright cold by early Sunday morning.

The forecast was calling for sunny skies with a high near 77 this afternoon, followed by a low around 44 overnight as light winds shift out of the north.

Saturday's high is expected to climb to near 67, with north winds gusting as high as 20 mph.

The low Saturday night into Sunday morning is forecast to dip to around 38, but with calm winds and another sunny afternoon Sunday with a high near 67.
