Multiple fatality accident north of Greenville

GREENVILLE — A multi-fatality accident occurred between Greenville and Celeste tonight.

"We have got three fatalities," said Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks of the two vehicle crash, which was reported around 8:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 69, near the intersection of County Road 1040 in the Kingston Community.

Justice of the Peace Aaron Williams was dispatched to the accident scene, which was being worked by the Texas Department of Public Safety, the sheriiff's office and the Celeste Police Department.

There was no immediate word on the identities of the victims involved in the accident.
