Golden K Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast Saturday

GREENVILLE — Anyone with an appetite Saturday morning is invited to stop by the annual Golden K Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast.

Kiwanians will be serving up pancakes, sausage, juice and fellowship from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 6801 Wesley Street in Greenville. Cost for the meal is $5 for adults and free for children 6 and under, with all proceeds going to benefit local charities.

The Greenville Golden K Kiwanis Club was established in September 1985 with 35 members.

The organization is involved in, volunteers for and supports a variety of local community projects — from the Drug Free Greenville Kite Fly, to delivering Meals on Wheels, to the Greenville Police Department Summer of Safety program, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Tools for School and many more.

The Golden K Kiwanis meets every Tuesday at Kavanaugh United Methodist Church.
