High fire danger in area again today

GREENVILLE — The Texas Forest Service has listed Hunt County under "high" fire danger conditions today, due to the high winds and moderate drought.

Fannin, Dalta, Lamar and the nothern end of Hopkins County are all listed under "very high" fire danger conditions today.

A wind advisory is in place until noon today. The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies, with a high near 53 and winds out of the north northwest with gusts as high as 30 mph.
