Ceremony next week for Sarah Kinslow

GREENVILLE — A ceremony is scheduled in Greenville next week, in observance of a local woman who went missing as a teenager one dozen years ago.

Balloons will be released in remembrance of Sarah Kinslow during the event, starting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Southwood Christian Church, 1304 Jack Finney Boulevard.

Kinslow was 14 when she disappeared on May 1, 2001 near Greenville Middle School. Kinslow’s disappearnce has been widely reported during the years in both local and national media outlets, but Kinslow was never located.

Kinslow was 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighed 105 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair at the time of her disappearance.
