Freeze warning in effect overnight

GREENVILLE — It will continue to be windy and chilly this afternoon, with a freeze warning in effect and a chance of frost overnight.

The National Weather Service forecast is calling for mostly clear skies with a low around 30 and a chance of frost after 1 a.m. North winds could gust as high as 35 mph until after midnight.

The frost could stick around until about 9 a.m. Tuesday, with a high near 60 as the winds shift out of the south. The low is expected to dip back down to around 36 degrees by Wednesday morning.
