A Dallas man, one of three suspects allegedly connected to a reported home invasion robbery near Commerce in February, is in custody at the Hunt County Jail.
As of last week, Brandon Andre Bowles, 21, had been held in jail in College Station, where he had been arrested on two counts of aggravated robbery warrants from Hunt County. Bowles was placed in custody at the Hunt County Jail Tuesday evening.
Two other suspects remained at large Thursday.
On February 28, the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a possible aggravated robbery on FM 2874 outside of Commerce. The victims stated that three black males entered the residence armed with two shotguns and a pistol. The victims stated that two of the suspects were wearing masks and one was not. All victims were told to get on the floor or they would be shot.
Money was taken during the robbery, but no injuries were reported.
Bowles was identified as a result of the investigation and warrants were issued for his arrest.
Aggravated robbery is a first degree felony, punishable by a maximum sentence of from five to 99 years to life in prison and an optional fine of up to $10,000.
