Filing ended Friday for the May 10 municipal and school district elections.
There are contested races for all three of the seats on the Greenville Independent School District Board of Trustees and for one of the two seats on the Greenville City Council which will be decided during the elections.
Two incumbents chose not to run for re-election, while one incumbent drew no opposition in seeking another term.
Places 2, 3 and 4 on the Greenville ISD board will be on the ballot in May.
Place 2 incumbent Tom Durham will be facing Trena Stafford.
Incumbent Place 3 board member Dr. Kim Hunt Butcher is facing Michael Phillips.
Mitchal Vaughn will face Lesley Overstreet for the Place 4 post.
Trudy Wineinger, who currently serves in Place 4, has chosen not to seek another term.
Places 3 and 4 on the Greenville City Council will be decided.
Greenville City Council member Jeff Dailey was unopposed in seeking re-election to Place 3.
Holly Gotcher and Ramona B. Tiscareno filed for the Place 4 seat.
Mayor Pro-Tem Velma Del Bosque-Hobdy serves in Place 4 and chose not seek re-election to the council.
April 10 is the final day to register to vote for the election.
Early voting is scheduled between April 28 and May 6.
