Big benefit car show in Caddo Mills Saturday

CADDO MILLS — The weather should be perfect for lovers of classic and antique cars to find a lot to look at this weekend, as the Caddo Mills Motor Club hosts the Fourth Annual Benefit Cars & Crafts Show Saturday at the Caddo Mills Middle School.

Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m., with judging beginning at 11 a.m. and the awards ceremony starting at 2 p.m. Saturday. The registration fee is $20 per entry. Dash plaques and goodie bags will be presented to the first 50 participants.

The event is expected to feature more than 20  classes of cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors. First and second place awards will be begin given out for each class.

The show will be located on the parking lot of the middle school, at 2700 Gilmer Street and State Highway 36 North in Caddo Mills is also scheduled to include craft booths and entertainment.

Proceeds from the show go to the Caddo Mills Motor Club Benefit and Scholarship Fund.
