Wanting to make a creative entry for the upcoming “Bras for the Cause”, but could use a little ... support?
Greenville’s Downtown Art Party is hosting two free bra-making events next week in support of “Bras for the Cause”. Guests bring all of the supplies, including glue guns, needed to create their own “G” rated masterpiece.
The two separate adult-only events are scheduled from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, upstairs at 2611 Stonewall Street in Greenville.
Downtown Art Party is a new painting party venue which utilizes local artists as teachers and is dedicated to improving arts and entertainment in our community.
Starbucks will provide complimentary Passion Tea and Pike Place Roast Decaf Coffee. Guests may also bring their own food and beverages. Hardaway Electric has donated additional electrical services.
Seating is limited. Those wanting to attend can sign up at www.DowntownArtParty.com or by calling Marilyn Wineinger of Downtown Art Party at 903-454-8230.
Proceeds from “Bras for the Cause” benefit Janice’s Closet through the Hunt Regional Healthcare Foundation, which provides supplies such as wigs and breast prostheses to local breast cancer patients in need.
Last year’s event raised more than $62,000 with over 130 bra entries. This year’s “Bras for the Cause” is scheduled for the night of October 10.
