GREENVILLE — Funeral services have been scheduled for a child killed in a Sunday evening accident near Caddo Mills.

Services for Elijah Nelson Duncan, 2, of Caddo Mills will be Wednesday morning at the Church of Christ in Caddo Mills.

Duncan’s mother was injured in the two-vehicle crash.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported the accident occurred at around 6 p.m. Sunday on Farm-to-Market Road 36.

Melissa Renee Duncan of Caddo Mills was driving a 2006 Toyota southbound on the roadway when she reportedly failed to execute a curve and entered the northbound side of the road, where the Toyota struck a 2008 Dodge Ram truck.
