Partnerships subject of luncheon

GREENVILLE — Area business and government leaders may get an idea next week of how public/private partnerships can improve local economic development.

The Hunt County Alliance for Economic Development is set to meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 17 at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center in Greenville.

Guest speaker for the event Hunt County Court at Law No. 1 Judge Andrew Bench, who will be speaking on “A Public/Private Partnership for Enhancing Hunt County Quality of Life and Economic Development.”

Bench also serves on the board of directors of the Hunt County YMCA.

Cup and Saucer Catering will be providing a “Mexican Fiesta” for the luncheon, which will cost $10 per person, payable at the door.
