Only a few tickets are still available for tonight’s concert by legendary country music artist Loretta Lynn at the Greenville Municipal Auditorium (GMA).
Officials with the GMA said Thursday that most tickets had been sold for the event. The doors to the GMA open at 7 and the show starts at 8 p.m.
Tickets range from $45 to $65. Reserved seats may be purchased in person at the box office at 2821 Washington Street, by calling 903-457-2994 or by logging on www.showtimeatthegma.com.
Lynn, also dubbed “The First Lady of Country Music,” has charted 16 number one hits and authored six books.
She is scheduled to perform classics such as “Coal Miner’s Daughter”, “You Ain’t Woman Enough,” “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin” and several additional memorable songs. Lynn has charted 51 Top 10 hit records, was inducted into the national Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York in 2008 and was honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010.
