Lynn tickets selling fast

Performance in Greenville Feb. 28

GREENVILLE — Tickets are still on sale, but are going fast, for a concert by the “Coal Miner’s Daughter” next month at the Greenville Municipal Auditorium (GMA).

“We’ve sold about 1,000 tickets so far,” GMA Venue Manager Kimber Patterson said Thursday. “That’s pretty good, considering we have about a month to go.”

CMH Productions is presenting Lynn on Friday, February 28. The doors to the GMA open at 7 and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Tickets range from $45 to $65. Reserved seats may be purchased in person at the box office at 2821 Washington Street, by calling 903-457-2994 or by logging on www.showtimeatthegma.com.

Lynn, also dubbed “The First Lady of Country Music,” has charted 16 number one hits and authored six books.

She is scheduled to perform classics such as “Coal Miner’s Daughter”, “You Ain’t Woman Enough,”  “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin” and several additional memorable songs.
