West Tawakoni schedules July 4 events

GREENVILLE — Independence Day activities are also scheduled Thursday in the City of West Tawakoni.

West Tawakoni is conducting the “Old Fashioned Picnic In the Park” between 3 and 7 p.m. Thursday in the West Tawakoni City Park.

The event is scheduled to include live music, a watermelon-eating contest, cotton candy, snow cones, a water slide, face painting, a 50/50 contest and more.
