Taking a chance on helping Habitat

GREENVILLE — Area residents are being asked to place their bets on a Saturday night fund raiser benefiting an organization which provides housing for those in need.

Greenville Texas Habitat for Humanity is hosting a Casino Night, starting at 7 p.m. Saturday at Landon’s Winery downtown. The event is sponsored by L-3 Mission Integration. Admission is $30 per person or $50 per couple. Tickets can be purchased through TicketLeap at http://gtxhfh.tickeleap.com/casino/ or at Landon Winery the night of the event.

Organizers are promising a night of fun, casino games and prizes. Those attending are invited to come dressed in their favorite western wear and there will be a western-themed photo spot where they can have their picture taken and receive a free printed photo.

Habitat for Humanity helps provide low-cost housing to individuals who would not otherwise qualify using traditional methods. Habitat’s goals are based in Christian beliefs and principles. Proceeds from the event will go toward local Habitat projects.
