‘Penguins’ coming to aid cold, hungry dogs, cats

GREENVILLE — Some local students are wanting to come to the aid of cold and hungry abandoned animals in Hunt County.

The Destination Imagination project Outreach Team at Greenville Middle School, “The Flying Penguins”, is sponsoring a food and blanket drive to benefit the Greenville Animal Control Shelter

The students are seeking contributions of dog and cat food and new or used blankets for the dogs and cats at the shelter.

Donations may be left by January 26 in drop boxes at Walmart, Tractor Supply, Atwoods, PetSense, Greenville Middle School, all elementary school campuses in Greenville, at Greenville High School and at the Animal Control Shelter.
