Stacy Thrush of Lone Oak graduated with a Bachelor of Science with High Honors from Texas A&M University-Commerce on May 16. Her honors thesis was on the "Importance of Intercultural Communication: Overcoming Language Barriers in Higher Education." With her is Dr. Dan Jones, president of Texas A&M University-Commerce. Thrush's adviser was Dr. John Ballotti, faculty member in the Department of Mass Media, Communication, and Theatre.
