Boles nips Fannindel in Boles tournament finals

  Ross Bostick’s free throw with 16 seconds left gave the Boles Hornets a 35-34 victory over Fannindel in the championship game of the Boles basketball tournament on Saturday.

  Hunter Jordan fired in 24 points to lead the Hornets and all scorers. Jordan earned most valuable player honors for the tournament and the Top Gun award with 82 points for the tournament.

  Bostick and Caleb Samples all earned all-tournament honors for the Hornets.

  Damonte Scott led the Falcons with 16 points, while T.J. Erwin and Stephen Lock both fired in 12 and Quincy Cuba added 10.
