The Quinlan Ford Panthers presented the Mabank Panthers a stiff defense Friday night, limiting Mabank to only nine offensive plays in the first half, and going on to win 28-7.
Quinlan Ford’s Taylor Sikorsky scored in the first quarter on a 21-yard run, and in the second quarter on an 11-yard run. Sikorsky made good on the PATs for each.
James Silkey had two scoring runs from 16 yards out, one in the third and one in the fourth quarter. Sikorsky’s extra points were both good.
Sikorsky ended the night with 18 carries for 164 yards with two rushing touchdowns.
Silkey had 22 rushes for 157 yards and two touchdowns.
McNeil also recovered the ball when Quinlan’s Kaden Wallace stripped a Mabank player of the ball.
Quinlan Ford, 2-1, will play host to Ferris at home Friday night. Mabank drops to 0-3.
