Ladonia Rodeo, Frontier Days coming

Area residents will have an opportunity to attend the rodeo later this week.
The 44th Annual Ladonia Rodeo and Frontier Days is scheduled to run Thursday through Saturday in Eastman Arena. The gates open each day at 8:30 p.m.
In addition to the rodeo activities, there will also be a Mutton Bustin’ competition for children ages seven and under. The entry fee is $20.
Stock producers for the mini bull riding competition are Bad Little Buckers and Broken Arrow Mini Bulls.
Wing Rodeo Company of Bogota is the stock producer for the traditional rodeo activities.
Ron “Iceman Hunter, professional rodeo clown, will perform nightly.
Admission to the rodeo is $6 for adults and $4 for children.

The Frontier Days Celebration is scheduled for July 11, and features activities throughout the day.
The Ladonia Volunteer Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary will host a breakfast from 6:30 to 9 a.m.
Activities planned include a hay toss, horse shoe toss, shoe kicking contest, bubble gum blowing contest, watermelon spitting contest, free throw contest, sack race, hula hoop contest, stick horse race, raw egg toss, terrapin race, cow chip throwing contest and an arm wrestling contest.
A dance will be held Saturday night, featuring live music from Acehigh of Ravenna.
