A&M-Commerce's Worden in tenth place at Central Oklahoma/Kickingbird Classic

Blake Worden shot a 71 to lead the Texas A&M University men's golf team to a 10th place team finish on Tuesday at the Central Oklahoma/Kickingbird Classic.
Worden, a junior from Rowlett, moved into a tie for 10th with his final-round play.
Host Central Oklahoma took team honors in a playoff with an 870 (297-285-288) as well as individual honors were earned by the Bronchos' Colby Shrum. He posted a 54-hole total of 211 (75-68-68) for a two-stroke victory over runner-up and teammate Baer Anneshansley, who shot a 213 (70-75-68).
A&M-Commerce junior Pinkey Hartline shot a final round 76 for a 54-hole total of 224 (74-74-76) and a tie for 31st-place honors. Sophomore Danny Jun posted a 77 in Tuesday's final round a 54-hole total of 231 (74-80-77) and a tie for 48th place finish. Freshman Ryan Hickey and junior Eric Westerman tied for 63rd with a 234 (72-81-81) and tied for 67th with a 236 (81-73-82), respectively.
The Lions will return to the course next week as they travel to Pensacola, Fla., for the Emerald Coast Collegiate, hosted by the University of West Florida.
