Coca Cola Cake

GREENVILLE — Coca-Cola Cake – Leslie Gibson

Heat to boiling:

1/2 cup Crisco

1 stick oleo

3 tbsp. cocoa

1 cup coca-cola

Pour over mixture of:

3 cups flour

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup buttermilk

1/4 tsp. salt

1 tsp. soda

2 eggs (beaten)

1 tsp. vanilla

1 1/2 cups small marshmallows

Mix well -- marshmallows will not completely dissolve. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.



Bring to boil:

1 stick margarine

3 tbsp. cocoa

6 tbsp. coca-cola

Remove from heat and add 1 box powdered sugar and 1 cup nuts. Mix well and pour over cake while hot.
