Commerce police arrest 11 in theft ring

COMMERCE — The Commerce Police Department has reported arresting 11 women, all on theft charges, during a three-day period.

Six of the individuals arrested are also facing organized criminal activity charges, according to a press release issued Sunday evening.

The department reported all of the arrests occurred between Thursday, Oct. 21, and Saturday Oct. 23 and all as the at the Commerce Wal-Mart store. Commerce police officers took the 11 women into custody after the store’s Loss Prevention Team detained them on charges of theft.
