Officers make multiple alcohol-related arrests

Officers with the Greenville Police Department made multiple arrests Thursday in connection with alcohol-related incidents.

Officers were dispatched to 76 calls Thursday, filed 25 reports and took nine people into custody.

Of those people taken into custody, two were arrested for public intoxication and two were arrested for driving while intoxicated. Four people were arrested on outstanding warrants and one for assault/family violence.
