Building, vehicle burglaries reported in county

Deputies with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to multiple burglary calls during the past week.

A burglary of a building and a burglary of a motor vehicle were reported to have occurred on County Road 3517 between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. Wednesday.

A burglary of a vehicle was reported to have occurred on FM 903 between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 77 calls Thursday, took two people into custody — one for public intoxication and one for outstanding warrants — and filed 12 reports.

— Gary Don Lacy of Yantis entered a plea of guilty to a charge of felony DWI and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

— Marlene Johnson, 43, of Greenville, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of fraudulent possession and/or use of identifying information and was sentenced to 730 days in a state jail.
