Multiple burglaries reported in county

Deputies with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office have responded to multiple burglary calls this week.

Tools and lawn and garden equipment were reported stolen during a burglary of a building on County Road 2526 between 8:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Speakers, a CD player, a DVD player, 25 CDs and medications were reported stolen during a burglary of a residence on Meadlowlark between 5 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Monday.

A burglary of a building was reported to have occurred on Highway 69 North between 7 p.m. Oct. 7 and 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 57 calls Tuesday, took four people into custody — three for outstanding warrants and one for driving while license suspended — and filed nine reports.



Courts

District Court

— David Lynn Skinner of Quinlan pleaded guilty to a charge of felony theft and was placed on 10 years of probation with 180 hours of community service, a $500 fine and $6,750 restitution.



County Court-at-Law No. 2

— Joseph Don Blair had probation on a charge of theft revoked and was sentenced to 45 days in jail.

— Cathy Fox Ord entered a plea of guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated and was placed on 12 months of probation with a $750 fine.

— Jaime Rivera Jr. entered a plea of guilty to a charge of obstruction of highway passageway and was placed on 12 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $1,000 fine.

— Joshua Christopher Young entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was placed on 12 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $2,000 fine.

— Randi Elisabeth Ruthart entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was placed on 12 months of probation with a $750 fine.

— Anastacio Garcia Santos entered a plea of no contest to a charge of driving while intoxicated second offense and was placed on 14 months of probation with a $600 fine.

— James Barton Weston entered a plea of guilty to a charge of obstruction of highway passageway and was placed on 12 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $750 fine.

— Jeanette Bowland entered a plea of guilty to a charge of criminal mischief and was placed on three months of deferred adjudication probation with a $75 fine.

— Monica Diann London entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was placed on 12 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $300 fine.

— Kendell Marquell Henry had probation on a charge of possession of marijuana revoked and was sentenced to 90 days in jail.
