Officers make four arrests

Officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 69 calls Thursday, took four people into custody and filed 15 reports.

The arrests included one person for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding warrant and one person each for theft, assault/family violence and resisting arrest/disorderly conduct.



Courts

District Court

— Shannon Dawn Cole, 23, Dallas, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was placed on three years of deferred adjudication probation, with 100 hours of community service and a $500 fine.

— Tamarea Lin Spencer, 28, Greenville, had probation on a charge of possession of a controlled substance revoked and was sentenced to 180 days in a state jail.
