Multiple marijuana arrests reported near Quinlan

The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office is reporting multiple arrests near Quinlan Tuesday morning for possession of marijuana.

Deputies also responded this week to two aggravated assault calls, one near Commerce and one near Campbell.

Four people were taken into custody early Tuesday morning on Private Road 3829 near Quinlan for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.

An aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported to have occurred at a residence on FM 3211 near Caddo Mills between 7:15 and 7:46 p.m. Monday.

An aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported to have occurred at a residence on County Road 4505 near Commerce between 10 and 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Identity theft was reported to have occurred at a residence on County Road 4511 between 8 a.m. July 24 and 8 a.m. Monday.

A theft was reported to have occurred at a residence on County Road 2512 between 8:35 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. Monday.

A theft of a motorcycle was reported to have occurred at a residence on FM 1565 between 2 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 76 calls Tuesday, took four people into custody and filed 18 reports. Of those taken into custody, two people were arrested for outstanding warrants and one person each was arrested for assault/family violence and public intoxication.
