Officers make three arrests

Officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 65 calls, filed 14 reports and made three arrests Thursday. Two people were arrested for outstanding warrants and one for public intoxication.

Deputies with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a terroristic threat at Boles Middle School, occurring between 9:52 and 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

A burglary of a motor vehicle was reported to have occurred at a residence on Private Road 3826 between 8 a.m. Sept. 12 and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

County Court-at-Law No. 2

— Fnu Ahmed-Dhanani entered pleas of guilty to possession of a gambling device and keeping a gambling place and was placed on 12 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $100 fine.

— Jaqueline Trinez Amos entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of a dangerous drug and was placed on 18 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $750 fine.

— Joshua Micah Cotton had probation on a charge of possession of marijuana revoked and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

— Omar Cuevas entered a plea of guilty to a charge of assault causing bodily injury/family violence and was placed on 12 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $500 fine.

— Anthony Wilfred Rodriguez entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was placed on 16 months of probation with a $500 fine.

— Arvel William Stewart entered a plea of guilty to a charge of DWI and was sentenced to 60 days in jail with a $100 fine.

— Vicky Lyn Younger entered a plea of guilty to a charge of DWI and was sentenced to 75 days in jail with a $100 fine.
