Deputies investigate thefts of motorcycle, air conditioner

Deputies with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office have been investigating multiple theft and burglary cases this week, including reports of stolen four-wheelers, a motorcycle and air conditioners.

Two four-wheelers and a motorcycle were reported stolen from an address on Pecan Circle in Lone Oak between 8 a.m. Aug. 14 and 4 p.m. Sept. 1.

An outside air conditioner unit was reported stolen from a residence on Hiawatha between 8 a.m. Aug. 24 and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Air conditioning units were reported stolen from a residence on Fox Point between last Thursday, Sept. 3 and 5:35 p.m. Monday.

A chipper was reportedly stolen from a business on Highway 276 West between 4 p.m. Sept. 3 and 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Five stainless steel sinks, three trailer axles and eight sticks of steel pipe were reported stolen Monday from a residence on County Road 4729 between 10 a.m. Saturday and 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

A burglary of a building, with nothing taken, was reported to have occurred in the 3500 block of Lamar Street between 8 a.m. Sept. 1, and 9 a.m. Monday.

One report each of assault/family violence and criminal mischief were listed at a residence on FM 903 at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 87 calls Tuesday, took one person into custody on a charge of assault/family violence and filed 21 reports.



Courts

District Court

— Stephen Scott Card, 24, Mesquite, had probations on two counts of possession of a controlled substance revoked and was sentenced to 10 years and six years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

— Larry Don Monk Jr., 32, Greenville, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to six months in a state jail.

— Cornelius Deon Hines, 19, Commerce, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of indecency with a child and was placed on 10 years of deferred adjudication probation, with 120 hours of community service and q $500 fine.

— Michelle Yvette McCrary, 36, Greenville, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle and was placed on three years of deferred adjudication probation with 120 hours of community service and a $300 fine.

— Ryan Wayne Davidson, 30, Greenville, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of evading arrest and was placed on two years of deferred adjudication probation with 40 hours of community service and a $500 fine.
