Officers make two arrests

Officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 66 calls Monday, took two people into custody and filed 15 reports. The arrests included one for criminal trespass and one for assault/family violence.



Courts

District Court

— Terrance Dewayne Pitts, 30, Commerce, had probations on two counts of possession of a controlled substance revoked and was sentenced to five years in prison.

— Anna Maria Medel, 30, Greenville, had probation on a charge of possession of a controlled substance revoked and was sentenced to 180 days in a state jail.

— Dana Jo Scott, also known as Dana Jo Lindsey, 46, Quinlan, had probation on a charge of felony DWI revoked and was sentenced to five years in prison.

— Patricia Renee Medina, 49, Lone Oak, had probation on a charge of driving while intoxicated/second offense revoked and was sentenced to 235 days in the Hunt County Jail.

— John Wayne Moreland, 26, Commerce, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of forgery and was sentenced to 365 days in a state jail.

— Justin Allen Steele, 21, Wills Point, had probation on a charge of possession of a dangerous drug revoked and was sentenced to 180 days in the Hunt County Jail.

— Alexander Jamal Jones, 18, Garland, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of burglary and was placed on five years of deferred adjudication probation with a $500 fine, 100 hours of community service and was ordered to write a letter of apology to the victim.

— Michael Ray Whitmire, 49, Whitewright, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of felony DWI and was sentenced to 10 years in prison with a $500 fine.



County Court-at-Law No. 2

— Marcus Russell Eidson entered a plea of guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated and was placed on 18 months of probation with a $500 fine.

— Bradley Keith Reed entered a plea of guilty to a charge of evading arrest/detention and was sentenced to 180 days in jail with a $100 fine.

— Shelbie Preston Crisp entered a plea of guilty to a charge of theft and was placed on 12 months of probation with a $200 fine.

— Nathaniel Powell Hyder entered a plea of guilty to a charge of accident involving damage to a vehicle and was placed on 6 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $100 fine.

— Jamie Beard entered a plea of guilty to a charge of theft and was placed on 12 months of probation with a $750 fine.

— Josue Munoz entered a plea of guilty to a charge of failure to identify and was sentenced to 180 days in jail with a $100 fine.

— Raymond James Henry entered pleas of guilty to eight charges and was sentenced to 365 days in jail with a $100 fine.

— Tina Louise Sherrod entered pleas of guilty to one charge each of of driving while intoxicated/open alcohol container and bail jumping/failure to appear and was sentenced to 365 days in jail with a $100 fine.
