More thefts, burglaries reported in county

Deputies with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office continued to log multiple theft and burglary calls during the past week.

Tools and a toolbox were reported stolen during a burglary of a residence on East Highway 276 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday.

A theft was reported to have occurred on County Road 2296 at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Stereo equipment was reported stolen during a burglary of a motor vehicle at a residence on County Road 4604 between 1 and 5:25 a.m. Wednesday.

A handgun and a flashlight were reported stolen during a burglary of a motor vehicle at a residence on County Road 4605 between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Thirteen chickens were reported stolen Wednesday from a residence on Signal Road between May 15 and 8 p.m. Monday.

A theft was reported to have occurred at a residence on FM 2874 between 8 a.m. Aug. 3 and 6:01 p.m. Thursday.

An air tank, air hose and brass fittings were reported stolen Thursday during a burglary of a residence on FM 1563 between 7:30 and 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

Prescription medications were reported stolen Thursday during a burglary of a motor vehicle on a highway south of Quinlan between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle on County Road 1114 between noon Wednesday and 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Two assaults were reported to have occurred at the boat ramp in Camp Caddo between 12:30 and 12:56 p.m. Tuesday.

An assault/family violence was reported to have occurred at on Private Road 3841 between 6 and 6:15 p.m. Thursday. One person was reported to have been taken into custody at the same location and time on a charge of failure to identify as a fugitive from justice.

Officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 76 calls, took four people into custody and filed 20 reports Thursday. All of the arrests were for outstanding warrants.
