On the beats Deputies respond to multiple theft, burglary calls

Deputies with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office have been receiving multiple reports this week concerning thefts and burglaries, from locations across the county.

A motor vehicle burglary was reported to have occurred at a residence on County Road 4514 between 12:01 and 7:20 a.m. Sunday.

An air conditioner unit was reported Sunday to have been stolen from County Road 2596 between 2 p.m. July 14 and 11 p.m. last Friday, Aug. 14.

A 1989 Buick Park Avenue was reported stolen from a residence on County Road 4516 between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 9:11 a.m. Sunday.

A theft was reported to have occurred at a business on West Interstate 30 between 11:20 and 11:45 a.m. Sunday.

A burglary was reported to have occurred at a residence on Fox Point Circle between 2 p.m. Aug. 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday.

A GPS navigation system was reported stolen during a burglary of a vehicle on County Road 4516 between 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.

A flat screen television was reported stolen during a burglary of a residence on Commanche between 9 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday.

A theft was reported to have occurred at a residence on County Road 2132 between 11:24 and 11:35 a.m. Monday.

A theft was reported Tuesday to have occurred at a residence on Legacy Circle between 9:30 a.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday.



Courts

District Court

— Angela Kiwana Carr, 25, Greenville, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of evading arrest and was placed on nine years of deferred adjudication probation with 120 hours of community service and a $500 fine.

— Traci Lee Roberts, 40, Quinlan/Greenville/Wills Point, forfeited bond on a motion to revoke probation on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. A warrant was ordered for Roberts’ arrest and new bond was not set.

— Larry Michael Mata, 20, Greenville, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of forgery and was placed on two years of deferred adjudication probation with 120 hours of community service.
