The Greenville Police Department made five arrests Tuesday, all of them involving outstanding warrants.

Officers were dispatched to 73 calls and filed 18 reports.

Hunt County Sheriff’s Deputies have had a rather busy week so far. A lot of assaults have been reported in the last few days.

On Monday an assault was reported on County Road 1048. The alleged victims were the parents of the accused.

On Tuesday they arrested a man for assaulting his wife in Royse City.

A charge of assault was reported Tuesday on County Road 3506.

A man was reported to have been assaulted at his residence on Dove Drive Tuesday afternoon.

A woman and her daughter were reported to have been assaulted by her husband at their residence on County Road 3412 Tuesday afternoon.

A forgery was reported to have occurred at a convenience store on FM 1903 Wednesday afternoon.

A mailbox was stolen from a residence on Highway 50 North. The theft was reported on Wednesday and is believed to have taken place late Monday night.
