Citizens of Greenville, why not vote “yes” to selling beer and wine in Greenville?
Let Greenville get this revenue, because if people want beer, they are just going to get it somewhere else. Are the people of Greenville so naive that they think keeping Greenville dry is going to keep people from buying? The city needs that revenue so maybe someday Greenville can lower property taxes for people over 65, like in Dallas. Seniors there only pay taxes on property over $65,000. I worry from year to year if I will be able to pay my taxes because I live on a limited fixed income.
People, even Jesus Christ, drank wine. The sin is over-indulging and that can be with anything.
This also might keep people from popping that top before they get home.

Thank you, Herald-Banner. The recent article about our White Elephant estate fundraising sale for the Wolfe City Cultural Center and Museum gave us a wide coverage making it a big success. I want to thank the Herald-Banner and staff, especially your reporter Janelle Stecklein, for helping promote the sale. It pays to be exposed.
Thanks again.

Is Barack Hussein Obama a terrorist? Who, or what is he????
What do we know about him?
He started going (so he says) to a Christian church.
He says he is a Christian.
The (members of the) church he belongs to are racists. I once listened to his preacher; to me he sounded as if he was anti-American.
Barach Hussein Obama’s friend was head of the Weatherman’s — an organization that once attempted to overthrow the U.S. government.
I wonder, if he were to be elected as president of the United States, would he have something on his mind other than being president of the U.S.A.?
Think about it….
