Helen Camp

GREENVILLE — Helen Irene Camp, 74, of Greenville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 26, 2012.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born in McAllen to Walter and Jean Polvado on April 17, 1938. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cash. She loved to cook for her family, making all their favorite foods and special treats. She was a Dallas Stars hockey fan. Helen was known for loving God and her family.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry Camp; children Phillip Camp of Jackson, Tenn., James and Laura Camp of Jacksonville, Fla., Jerry Camp Jr. of Palestine, Marie Derrickson of Dallas, Emily and Julio Fletes of The Colony; brother Herbie Polvado of Reno, Nev.; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog Pixie.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren, Steven and Alex Fletes.
