Colvin Munger, 84, of Greenville, formerly of Austin, passed away Oct. 19, 2013, at her residence. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. at Authentic Life Fellowship with Rev. Jimmy Vaughn officiating.
Mrs. Munger was born April 15, 1929, in McClain, Texas, to George Clarence and Leona Hogue Cogburn. She married Leland Munger in Austin on May 20, 1978.
She worked as an administrative assistant in the Art Department at the University of Texas in Austin. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband of Greenville; a son, Jeremy Colvin and wife Connie of Greenville; stepson David Munger of Midland; stepdaughters Marilyn Munger of Leander and Diana Manweiler of Driftwood; sisters Johnnie Bess Bertschy of Sequin and Peggy Ann Wingfield of Temple; grandchildren Sherri Cano of Greenville, Tammy Clark of Greenwood, Mo., Rilee Colvin of Greenville, Raegen Colvin of Greenville, and Zack Manweiler of Driftwood; great-grandchildren Emily Fuller, Micah Cano, Mathew Cano, Cody Cano, Casey Lindley, Caroline Clark, Katelyn Clark and Callie Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother G.C. Cogburn; and sister Georgia Davis.
