Stacey Wood

GREENVILLE — Stacey R. Wood, 47, of Greenville died April 1, 2014, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Glenn Cook officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Cemetery. 

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Stacey was born in Tyler on June 14, 1966, the son of Brownie Reed Wood and Patsy Nell (Huddle) Wood. He married Laura Pearson on July 1, 1995, in Greenville. He worked for the North Texas Municipal Water District as an interceptor operator. Stacey was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Wood of Greenville; a son, Anthony Wood; his mother, Nell Wood of Greenville; sister Dianne Clark and husband Steve of Wolfe City; niece Brandi Lewis and husband Adrian of Greenville; a nephew, Josh Zimmer and wife Kris of Greenville; his mother-in-law, Mary Pearson of Greenville; brother-in-law Jimmy Pearson and wife Rhonda of Celeste; sisters-in-law Beth Quintero and husband Jose of Greenville and Amy Tapley and husband Randy of Royse City; numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his dog, Blueford. 

He was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister.

Pallbearers will be Scott Willeford, Chris Royal, Brandon Stroup, Ben Richardson, Charles Cooper, Josh Forte and Randal Jenkins.
