Peggy “Jo An” Pugh of League City passed away March 15, 2013, in Webster at the age of 81.
She was born on Sept. 27, 1931, in Greenville to Lewis J. Jr. and Selma Beckham.
Joan had been very active in the League City Garden Club in earlier years. She was a devoted wife, a loving and caring mom, and a very special granny and great-grandmother.
She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis J. Jr. and Selma; siblings Peggy Daniel, Linda Capps, and Stephen Beckham; and grandparents Lewis John and Janeva Beckham and Jim and Grace Erwin.
Joan is survived by her loving husband, Edwin; daughters Ann Sullivan and husband Charles of Canyon Lake and Pam Schwarz and Jeff of Austin; son Joe Pugh and wife Susan of League City; brothers Rex, Brad, and Bart Beckham; grandchildren Cristin Sullivan, Kevin Sullivan and fiancé Matea Sipes, Meagan Schwarz , Melissa Schwarz, Matthew Schwarz, Lindsey Pugh and Tanner Pugh; great-grandchild Landry Sullivan; and many other loving family and friends.
A Celebration of Her Life ceremony will be held at a later date.
