Paul K. McCaslin, 84, of Nevada, Texas, passed away Nov. 27, 2013, at his residence. Graveside services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Thompson Cemetery with Rev. Scott Mitchell officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday from noon until 1 p.m.
Services are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Paul was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Shidler, Okla., to George and Pearl Henderson McCaslin.
He served his country by serving in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He worked as a photo engraver and was of the Church of Christ faith.
Paul is survived by his sons, Dr. Pat McCaslin and wife Claire of Madisonville, La., and Roger McCaslin of Stigler, Okla.; daughters Viki Mitchell and husband Buddy of Greenville and Kara Carter and husband Richard of Kinta, Okla.; sisters Avonelle Findley of Ft. Worth and Delores Belyeu of Hobbs, N.M.; grandchildren Scott Mitchell and wife Bonnie, Kyle Mitchell, Christopher McCaslin and wife Dawn, Megan Varnado and husband Johnathan, Eric McCaslin, Isaac McCaslin, Jeremy McCaslin, Kerri Bloom and husband Jeff, and Megan Keen; great-grandchildren Taelor, Maya, and Lailani McCaslin, Lucy and Eli Mitchell, Oliver, McKensie, Adrian Varnado, and Davis Bloom; four nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Scott Mitchell, Kyle Mitchell, Christopher McCaslin, Eric McCaslin, Isaac McCaslin, and Jeremy McCaslin.
