Margaret Glynn Cross, 84, of Greenville passed away Oct. 19, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Bruton officiating. Burial will follow at the Cross family cemetery.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Margaret was born April 21, 1929, in Greenville to Henry and Lola Pearl Brown Courtney. She married Harry Cross Jr. on June 2, 1950, in Greenville.
Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and was also the owner of Cross & Cross Pecan Farms in Kellogg. She was a member of Central Christian Church. She formerly volunteered as a Pink Lady and was involved with the Master Builders Class.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Wayne Cross and wife Debbie and Bill Cross and wife Susan; grandchildren Tommy Cross, Greg Cross, James Cross, David Cross, John Cross, Cinda Cross and Abigail Cross; and seven great-grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Billy Courtney.
Pallbearers will be Greg Cross, Tommy Cross, David Cross, James Cross, John Cross, and Mike Price.
